Some 100 of Toronto’s most creative minds will showcase their projects and inventions at the Toronto Reference Library in a free celebration of technology, creativity and DIY. Take a break from traditional art galleries and head outside for the annual Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition, July 14 to 16, at Nathan Phillips Square. The free event will showcase contemporary art by more than 300 painters, photographers, sculptors, jewellery makers and more. Head out to the Kortright Centre for Conservation and spend a night with the stars at Midnight Astronomy on July 19. In this adult workshop, you’ll learn the basics of astronomy in an amazing portable planetarium.
