Countless are markets and farms in York Region where you may buy direct. Following are some favourites listed by municipality, but check local listings or website for hours. Most markets are open May through to October.

Stiver Mill Farmers’ Market: Every Sunday from June 24 to October 7 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Whittamore’s Berry Farm: This is a large ‘pick your own’ fruit and vegetable farm nestled beside the Rouge River Valley.
Schomberg Farmers’ Market: The Schomberg Farmers’ Market takes place every two weeks on Saturdays and provides fresh grown produce from local Ontario growers.
VanHart Greenhouses: VanHart Greenhouses is a family owned organic farm operated by a husband and wife team.
Newmarket Farmers’ Market: Saturday mornings May to October from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Strawberry Creek Farm Market: Pick your own strawberries plus a variety of homegrown vegetables at a unique farm market.
Homestead Specialty Foods: Homestead Farm is a Registered Egg Grading Station located just 1-km away from the Holland Marsh.
Thompson Potato Farm: Produce fresh from the farm includes beans, carrots, cucumbers, sweet corn, onions, peas and potatoes.
Georgina Farmers Market: Every Sunday at the Ice Palace in Keswick from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
